The Kabsa, is also known as the national dish of Saudi Arabia which is a mixture of rice (long-grain), spices, meat and vegetables. The spices include black peppers, cloves, cardamom, saffron, cinnamon, black lime, bay leaves and nutmeg. The meat may be either chicken, goat, lamb, camel, beef, fish, and shrimp. Sometimes there is an extra ingredient which is tomato sauce for those who need it. In my opinion, it tastes good, but the spices made me want to drink a glass of water in one gulp!.
The Murtabak is a literally a stuffed pancake which is commonly found in Saudi Arabia (and also others countries like Yemen, India, Indonesia, etc) The ingredients used to make this dish are ground meat (beef or chicken), sliced onions, beaten eggs, some salt, and potatoes.the common spices to make the ground meat are shallots, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and some salt. Some makers add a special ingredient to make there's unique but all are closely related.
